Bowen Island Chamber of Commerce - citizen-for-the-year

It would be impossible to give recognition to one and not the other. Their names are virtually synonymous as a couple who, may not do the same things but, support each other and the community to the fullest! To read more about their accomplishments click here

Every year, since 1978, the Bowen Island Chamber of Commerce has recognized islanders who have contributed a great deal in the way of volunteer service to the Bowen Island community and invite you to nominate an individual for the 2008 award.

Criteria: An individual who has demonstrated outstanding service to the community for the past number of years, this service should not be part of their employment or profession. Please note: The individual nominated must not be an elected official, current member of the Chamber Board of Directors or a past Citizen for the Year.

Anyone can nominate an individual for this honour and may do so via mail or our nomination form here stating the reasons for your choice.
